After successfully opening a position, you can click “Futures Trading” in the top-left corner of the page. This will take you to the following screen, where your current positions are displayed below the chart along with related data such as quantity, entry price, estimated liquidation price, profit/loss, and earned or lost digital assets.
Key Terms:
Entry Price : The average price at which your current position was opened.
Mark Price : The latest mark price of the contract. This price is used to calculate profit/loss and liquidation price. Using the mark price helps prevent abnormal or unfair liquidations.
Estimated Liquidation Price : If the mark price reaches Price A, your position will be liquidated. Price A is therefore your liquidation price. Make sure to add margin or close the position before the mark price reaches this level to avoid forced liquidation.
